Hypnosis - An illusion or
deeper state of consciousness
What is hypnosis?
It is a regressive technique used as a mental
voyage back in time to deal with the source or
the springboard of the psychological or physical
problems
voyage back in time to deal with the source or
the springboard of the psychological or physical
problems
Application
TO help one cope with the anxiety, phobias, post traumatic stress and even moderate depression.
Treat the undesired behavior like drug addiction, alcohol abuse, OCD, insomnia etc.
To implement positive changes in ones behavior and enhance the quality of the life
To reduce the stress and anxiety before the medical procedure
and control the pain post childbirth, cancer, dental and other medical procedures
What it is not
It is just not one person controlling the mind of the another
It must not be mistaken for the unconscious state of mind
What it is
The hypnotized person is in control of his mind and will never do the things he is unwilling to do otherwise
He decides the depth of the trance, the acceptable suggestions and when to be awaken
So he cannot be forever lost with the shortfall in the technique
It can also be performed as an open eye technique
How is it performed?
It has to be performed by the professional hypnotherapist and not amateur or unskilled hypnotist
prior knowledge of the chemotherapeutic approach is required
Hypnotherapist leads the patient in the state of trance which is the deep state of relaxation and the heightened state of mind
However for the effectiveness of the treatment the hypnotized person has to be in the complete state of trance
Side affects
Headache, drowsiness and even create the false memories by altering ones emotions
Limitations
It cannot be used for treatment of certain disorders
